This morning MV Charlotte Princess guests brought in a nice haul of Chinook, the biggest being a fantastic 34 pounder. Cookie has taken a group of boats outside Parry Passage around Cox Island, where at present they have just landed a large 90 lb. halibut, plus it sound like they are getting more hits as I’m typing this.
The fishing was a bit spotty this morning, with some fish taken at both Cohoe Pt and Andrews Pt., but it seemed to taken off with the low water at noon. The winds have died down somewhat today and the Fishmaster has opened the west side of Langara from Parry to Lacy Islands. Right now (3:30) I'm getting reports of another bite starting of Cohoe Pt.
