Poseidon's wrath
Langara Island Fishing Resorts - July 11, 2006Hey folks. Cookie here with the latest Langara lore.
Mother Nature has been wreaking havoc over the North Charlottes for the past 8 days with various storm fronts moving through. Anglers, although challenged, have been making the best of it. Those who are putting in their time are limiting out and some lunkers (43 lbs, 40 lbs, 33 lbs,37 lbs, 31 lbs) are still hitting the dock.
The weather has calmed down today and most boats are doing quite well at Coho and McPherson Points. The big fish are still coming from Bruin Bay and Gunia Points.
An impromtu hali trip today to the chicken ranch saw all boats limit out and a westside trip to the Lighthouse yesterday produced a 40 lber.
Hopefully Poseidon has blown his last angry breath for a while and the fishing will only get better from here.
