Langara Island Fishing Report
Langara Island Fishing Resorts - July 4, 2006Group #10 just arrived with a sky-full of sunshine to start their 5 day trip here at Langara Island. The last 7 days has seen some fantastic fishing at times, even with a pesky NW wind caused by that heatwave you southerners have been enjoying.
The wind calmed down this morning, opening hotspots like McPherson and No Name Points. The size of the Chinook is staying strong at over 21 lbs average. The Coho have shown up in strength with over 4 dozen between the last group of weather-challenged anglers.
I got closer to the Marabell’s Fishmaster’s 39 lb fish with a 34 pounder off of Coho Point a few days ago. It’s only a matter of time before the Charlotte Princess takes the lead, maybe even this afternoon. On that note I’m going fishing!
