The winds have been up around Langara for the past few days, but guests have still been able to fish the popular east side of the island. Salmon have been in the 20+ and 30+ lb range. Also, surprisingly, a 7 lb steelhead was landed, only the 3rd in 4 years at Langara. Not much in the way of halibut fishing due to the wind, though it is expected to calm a bit to a gentler westerly later today and tomorrow.
