Langara Fishing Update

Langara Island Fishing Resorts - June 25, 2007

Two fisherman stepped off the plane and right into the Tyee club this weekend. Steve Fitzmaurice caught a 38 lb. Chinook at the Lighthouse and Keith MacLeod won a 32 lb. Chinook at Lacy Island.

Strong evening bites at Cohoe Point and south side of Andrews Point yielded 15-25 Chinook and some frantic Coho fishing.

All of these fish are biting softly and guests are having success with a radical bait cut that gives a tight fast spin.

Bottom fishing continues strong at Parry Pass and Pillar Rock, as well as some hali and Ling cod at Salmon Point. Congrats to Chris Tite who pulled a 77 lb. halibut from Pillar Rock.
