Langara Fishing Update

Langara Island Fishing Resorts - June 12, 2007

Andrews Pt continues to be consistent with Cohoe Pt relatively hot over the last three days, both spots have seen lots of Chinook in the 15 – 25 lb. range. An evening bite at Cohoe Pt is producing action at 30 to 60 pulls. Dave Kilby managed to bring a 37 lb. Chinook onto the weigh scale during one of these numerous bites.

Lacy Island has been good over the last three days with 10 – 30 lb Chinook being brought in.

A number of halibut weighing from 20 – 60 lbs were caught while fishing West of Cox Island in 100 to 220 feet of water. Herring bait has been out producing salmon bellies for halibug.
