Halibut Heaven!

Reports are coming in from all various Oak Bay Marine Group resorts about the quality and quantity halibut being caught. Canadian Princess Resort on Vancouver Island reports excellent halibut fishing, with the number of halibut caught holding its own against the number of salmon - with the halibut fishing picking up in the past few days. The MV Salmon Seeker reported 4 halibut over 100 lbs. on the latest trip and shows no signs of slowing down. In the Queen Charlottes, the MV Charlotte Princess and MV Marabell report halibut up to 90 lbs. Call 2002 the year of the Halibut!
