Mike & Karen Watling recently returned from the MV Charlotte Princess…here’s what he had to say.
“It seemed that I spend most of the day cutting bait for Karen, as we were into fish all day long. We played at least two dozen fish and released about 12 or so with others shaking the hooks free. The wildlife was unbelievable. Orcas and humpbacks were seen every day. Some guests watched three Orcas for nearly an hour, only 20 feet from their boat. Karen and I fished a little bay for a while one morning and watched two humpbacks skirt the shore in 60-70 feet of water. Pretty awesome spectacle. Overall, we came home with 150 lbs of fish. Karen was a trooper as each day had a 4:30am wake up call and we were in the boats by 5:30am. And we have the tell tale signs of a great trip: sore muscles, burned faces, laugh filled memories and a full freezer.”
