Hey folks, Cookie here again.
Well, the Coho are here in force, with each boat getting into 20-30 cohos per day. It makes it a little tougher to target Chinooks but they’re still coming in as well in sizes such as 35, 37, 32, 29, 28 and 26 lbs. to top the lists.
Halibut fishing has been spectacular with our organized outings producing trophy halibut daily with a dozen over 50 lbs. in the last 5 days and many 30-40 pounders as well. Mosts guests are limiting on Yellow Eye and Lingcod as well.
Our last group we sent out an incredible amount of boneless, vacuum packed and blast frozen fillets between 30 guests. Two of those guests also became new Master Fishermen in the 100 lb. + halibut category. Way to go guys. Anyway I’m too tired from harpooning huge halis and need to get some sleep so tight lines everybody.
