Hi Everyone,
I have just returned from the Charlotte Princess and the group that was on board was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed fantastic meals, beautiful sunshine and calm seas.
The fishing had slowed down a bit compared to previous trips but that did not dampen everyone’s spirits. Most guests put in long hard hours on the water and were rewarded with numerous battles with Chinook and a few Coho. The majority of fish seemed to come from Gunia Pt. and Boulder Rock but there was still some action at Coho and Andrews Points. Most of the fish were in the 15-25 pull range in the mornings and from 50 – 75 later in the day. If the final morning was an indication, then the incoming guests are in for some more amazing Langara Island fishing. There were numerous Chinook taken off of Andrews Point with the fish of the trip being a 34 pounder caught by Jeff Betts.
