Hey folks. Now that the weather has calmed down, the fishing is right back to awesome status once again. This last group is very close to their limits and most should top off tomorrow with a delicious 5:15 high slack tide to fish tomorrow morning. Chinook have been hitting hard and shallow with many being hooked at 15 pulls or less, at Coho and Andrews points this morning. The cohos are getting bigger every day and showing up in greater numbers. Fish are being caught at every major point off the east side of the island with some afternoon deep action off of Langara Rocks. The bottom fishing trips today produced many tubs of yellow eye and ling cod for all the people who hit the west side. Two 32 pounders lead the way for Chinook today, caught by Bud Kanke and Lauren Shimek.
