Fishing remains excellent at Langara with 30 salmon days per boat becoming the norm. The cohos are coming back huge with a 10-11lb average for the last group and 20 fish between 13 and 17lbs.
Bottom fishing trips off the Lighthouse are producing many large halibut and Lings and an abundance of Yellow eye. Chinooks are being caught at all the major points with Langara Rocks Leading the way for this fresh run of August Chinooks. The depths for Chinooks is everywhere from 8-60 pulls with more success fishing shallow in the morning and deep in the afternoon. Anyway folks I’m off to Bruin Bay to look for a 50lber so I’ll see you soon.
