Langara Island Fishing Resorts - July 24, 2007Chinook fishing is picking back up, highlighted by 52 lb. and 47 lb. bruisers caught at Cohoe and McPherson Points, respectively.
Coho fishing has been excellent with 10 to 15 per boat per day not uncommon. Halibut and lingcod have been coming in steadily from the Lighthouse to Lacy Island areas in 265′–310′ of water. As I write this a 34 pounder and a 40 pounder have just hit the dock, so I have to go take some photos.
